Things People Say
“This was the first time I had used OWS for editing. I have worked with several other editors in the past so I had a good idea of what sort of service I expected for the price I paid. They lived up to my expectations with fast, efficient, accurate, and good value work. I would highly recommend their editing services to other authors.”
“None of my talents would have seen the light of day without the amazing support of Stephanie Ayers and A.L. Mabry, founders of Our Write Side, and Wendy Strain too. Without them, I would not have had the courage to show off my many talents. They truly help all authors succeed and achieve their goals!”
Author and designer
“Having a dream of becoming an author is not so rare, but finding a community that not only supports your dream but also helps you find your way is priceless. The people within the company treat you like a friend and care about your work. If it wasn’t for OWS, I would not have continued my future in writing.”
“The love and support with encouragement to succeed. Expectations to improve and not make excuses for myself or my terrible first drafts. Using tough love and respect, this is a writing family that pushes each other to new heights while providing a platform for emerging voices.
It is our mission to build a resource filled community of support to help writers of all levels achieve their goals.

OWS Ink Founders
Stephanie Ayers and Amanda (A.L.) Mabry were partnered up during a writing project nearly 10 years ago. They learned they had much more than just writing in common and bonded right away. Over the years, they have supported each other’s other writing and have grown together. This writing relationship naturally evolved into a dream: to build a writing community that would offer others the support they found in each other. Our Write Side was launched in October of 2015 and has seen incredible growth since. In 2017 the dynamic duo welcomed Heidi Angell to the team, another author who connected with their vision in a visceral way. Together, they are the three musketeers with their big dreams. Amazing things are forthcoming you won’t want to miss out on, so stay tuned.
